This is a space you can contribute your photographs of certain items that are missing or a variation different from my photos. to make this website the central of all East African speech and language-specific photographic resources, we need a community effort. You will make a difference to many speech therapists currently using this service across the continent. 

 

Some examples are as below and they are definitely not exhaustive, the more choices the merrier!:

• People (of various professions, family members, or local famous people)

• Personal items (to inc. disability aids such as wheelchair, walker, hearing aids, medication)

• Places (public buildings in addition to my collection, places within the home, places to go out like cafes, homes specific to particular communities near you). 

• More different types of clothes. 

 

You can create your own Google Drive folder containing all the photographs you want to share with the website, send me the editing access to your folder through this email:

I will not modify your work on the drive, it just makes it possible for me to share a link on the website. I may download those photographs to edit, optimise and improve the quality of the photos to a new google file.

 

Instructions on how to create good quality photos even on your smartphone are below.

Please before photographing anyone that is recognisable, gain evidence of expressed permission from the model(s) that they are giving permission for photos of them to be uploaded to the website in public access and to be downloadable and printable to be used in SLT clinics.

Please initial in the spaces below what uses of these photographs you consent to, and sign at the end of the photography consent form. The photos are only used in the ways you consent to. Your name or personal details will be kept confidential.
